"Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans."  When I hear John Lennon sing these words, I can certainly say that happened to me.  While growing up in Houston, Texas, my ailing grandfather gave me an Olympus 35mm, I loved that camera!  It ignited a passion within me for photography. I studied film photography for 2 years. I held onto my dream when I got to University.  I wanted to be museum curator and photographer. I studied art, light, and film photography. As John Lennon sings, my University studies shifted and I went to work full time.

Now, I am back and it is a digital world.  I love working outside in beautiful BC or into a home setting for more lifestyle shoots.

I specialize in photographing newborn and babies up to 12 months. These tender moments are so special because they change so quickly.

My style is very simple and modern with minimal props and styling. I lean heavily towards black and white, which is my first love, but I love colour too.  I love getting to know families and being a part of the very beginning of these tiny, little lives.

When not with my camera, I can be found with my family, Mark, my partner of 18 years, and our 6 year old son...oh, and my sense of humour.

“A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.”                                                                             - Annie Leibovitz
